Zoom Books partners with local organizations to pickup their excess supply of used books and media items. We also offer the convenience of picking up books and media items directly from individuals’ homes or businesses if you have 10+ boxes available. Only have a couple boxes? No problem, we have a network of donation bins scattered across the lower mainland that can hold thousands of pounds of used books.

Evaluating books to elevate minds.

After gathering the books, we utilize software and specialized equipment to assess and categorize the books we receive from our partners and the public. Through this process, we can determine to route the books for resale, donate to a community partner, or recycle in a sustainable way. By leveraging these advanced methods, we can ensure that the books are handled efficiently and effectively, allowing us to provide the best possible service to our partners.

Breathing new life into old books.

Our end goal is to redistribute as many quality books as we can into the hands of readers around the world. Our ultimate goal is to maximize our redistribution efforts so that as many people as possible can experience the joy of reading. To ensure our partners can have confidence in our efforts, we’ve established an impressive redistribution yield of around 50%. That means that half of the books we collect are successfully redistributed to those who need them most.
